It dont come as a surprise really as lady gaga is now famous singer in the world. not as pretty as Britney, that will never happen.

Lady Gaga Twitter Queen – Lady Gaga is known for breaking records, and now she has surpassed Britney Spears
as the most followed person on Twitter. Spears had held the top spot for quite some time, but with Gaga’s album on the horizon and a tour in full swing, the interest level in Gaga has continued to rise in recent months. She became the first living person to have over 10 million fans on Facebook last month, and now her followers have surged beyond 5,667,000 on Twitter. The service is much smaller than Facebook in terms of total users, so that means that she has captured a much larger percentage of the audience on the service.

She did not acknowledge the achievement immediately. She has been slowly gaining on Spears and has added an additional 600,000 followers over the course of the last month. Spears took the title away from Ashton Kutcher three months ago, and has held the position since that time. Kutcher remains the third most followed individual on Twitter.

Gaga was able to take over Spears position by making a number of very controversial Tweets, even referring to herself as a hooker in several of them. It will be interesting to see how far ahead of Spears she pulls. Her career is still young, and she knows how to keep her name in the media. Could she eventually reach a following that is insurmountable? It is possible, but we will have to see what kind of publicity the next huge star can muster.
