Taylor Momsen Courtney Love Fan? – Beautiful Taylor Momsen has said that she does not count Courtney Love
as an influence, despite the fact that there have been many similarities drawn between the grungy pair.

17 year old Taylor is famous as the lead singer of rock band ‘The Pretty Reckless’, as well as having a successful career as an actress on ‘Gossip Girl’. She has also starred in ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ in 2000, ‘Hansel and Gretel’ in 2002, ‘Saving Shiloh’ in 2006 and Disney’s 2007 movie, ‘Underdog’. “I’ve been singing and writing songs my whole life, but people don’t know that” Taylor said.

On the comparisons made between her and controversial rocker Courtney Love, edgy Taylor said to Interview Magazine, “She’s awesome. She just isn’t one of my idols or direct influences, despite what people think.”

And “The public decided that for themselves, but I’m not going to complain because she is great.” Her grungy dress-sense certainly does mirror Love’s, but Taylor insists that she has not been influenced by the ‘Hole’ singer, and ex-wife of the late and great Kurt Cobain
