Justin Bieber Runaway Love Remix Ft. Kanye West
& Raekwon – Kanye West’s remix of Justin Bieber’s ‘Runaway Love’ was released online on August 30th.
Kanye sampled the Wu-Tang Clan’s breakout 1993 hit “Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing Ta F*** Wit”.

Justin’s lyrics are the same as on the original, and are punctuated with one verse from Kanye and two from hip-hop heavyweight, Raekwon.

“Kanye was just being Kanye” Raekwon said, talking of the session at New York’s Electric Lady studios, “He was definitely excited. The energy in the room was already speaking for itself. It was time to get up and have fun on the track together. We was drinking, laughing, being normal cats.

At the same time, we had a houseful of celebrities in the house as well. [Kanye] was moving through the facility, checking out the studios he had. He had three studios in there.” Strangely, there was no mention of Justin’s presence at the studios.

The unlikely collaboration came about after a series of tweets between Kanye and Justin, where they expressed a mutual admiration for each others’ work. “Maybe me and Rae should hop on Runaway Love! FLEX would drop bombs”, Kanye wrote.
