I am posting another thread about Girl Fight but posting it here because won't be talking about Jodelle in this thread but about the actual movie itself.

Overall I thought it was a good movie and did a good job of showing how mean kids can actually be to each other, but it seemed the movie messed up some crucial information about how Haley got attacked. When you read news reports and video about how it happened they say she was lured to the house for a sleepover where they then attacked her. Now in the movie it shows Haley talking to Alexis on the phone and telling Haley that Alexis didn't want anything to do with Haley anymore and that if she came over they were going to beat her up which she continues to go over to the house anyways where they do in fact beat her up. The movie goes about how she deals with being jumped by her "friends" and about how the law should deal with them.

Now this next part does not having anything to do with the movie itself but the actual event itself. I do think that the girls that did the beating pretty much just got a slap on the wrist. They could of got life in prison for what they did, although I do think that would be too much of punishment as yes they were teenagers but I do believe they should of of got depending on their involment in the incident from 30-90 days in jail for the ones that recorded/watched and up to 1 year in jail for the ones that actually did the beating.

That is my view on the movie/event that inspired the movie
