well im guessing most of you have heard about the floods that basically took over half of Australia, well to me it has taken over pretty much the hole of Australia.
Floods hit Australia, at the beginning of December 2010 and to the present day(today), the floods are still taking out towns and cities across Aus. And will be still continuing for god knows how long.
Its frigging bad. The floods are flooding towns and cities in the following stats:
New South Wales
Victoria
Queensland
Tasmania
Western Australia
Flood Warning for:
South Australia
Northern Territory.
Thats all our stats in Australia.
Thanks to all that have donated, myself included and the the champ Roger Federer raised a found raiser Tennis event thats raised millions. Go Federer, ya gotta love the guy, the Tennis player with a big Heart.
And im sorry to the SO many people that lost there homes, lost there jobs, businesses, animals, wheat farms, cars, trucks etc, and thinking of the family's thats lost loved ones who have died in the waters.
Australia was once a beautiful place, well still is and always will be, but i'd advise anyone not to come to Australia for awhile.
People stay away from Australia this time of the year because there scared of catching skin cancer from our heat is that bad in summer.
Now we have heat and floods AND...
Now in about 20 hours from now, we have a Cyclone about to hit across Australia's Great Barrier Reef, more than 310 miles wide. They say:
-----------
Queensland premier Anna Bligh said the last cyclone of such strength to cross Queensland was in 1918. "It's such a big storm - it's a monster, killer storm," she said. "This impact is likely to be more life threatening than any experienced during recent generations."
-----------
Tens of thousands of Australians have fled, some are staying in there homes, bloody idiots, get the hell out mate. You can not mess with Mother Nature agreed?
Anyway,
Just like to share some images of these floods from around Australia.
Cyclone images coming soon.
